VMF-111 "Devil Dogs "
Squadron history: Marine Fighter Squadron One One One was part of the Marine Air Reserve and was stationed at NAS Dallas. The squadron first received F-8A Crusaders in January 1964, sharing them with VMF-112, VF-701 and VF-703. The unit was deactivated in October 1965, with all squadron personnel and aircraft transferring to VMF-112. Models used:
